What's included in the kit?

What's the “02” adaptor I keep hearing about?
It's the most common wiper adaptor (connector) for our market of vehicles, and it comes pre-installed on all front NOVUS Wipers. For most cars, that means you just slide the new wiper on and click it into place.
What if my vehicle uses a different fitting?
Don't worry — your adaptor is included. Remove the '02' adaptor, attach your vehicle's specific adaptor to the new wiper, then connect it to your wiper arm. For rear wipers, attach your adaptor and connect it to the rear arm.
What are the different wiper fittings?
Wipers attach in a handful of ways - the classic hook (a J- or U-shaped metal hook, common on older vehicles and utes), pinch tab and top-lock connectors (common on newer cars), plus bayonet and side-pin styles on some European models. Do NOVUS Wipers fit older cars?
For older vehicles with a hook arm, our kit will include the 02 adaptor pre-fitted to the front wipers. Hook arms are one of the most common on New Zealand roads, especially on Japanese imports and older utes.

Because manufacturers change wiper sizes and connection types between years - sometimes in the middle of a model's life. Two cars that look identical from the outside can take different wipers. The year is how we make sure the kit that arrives is the one that clicks straight on.
Are both my wipers the same size?

How do I fit my new NOVUS Wipers?
It only takes about a minute.
1. Lift the wiper arm away from the glass.
2. Press the release tab where the old wiper meets the arm, and slide the old one straight off.
3. Line up your new NOVUS wiper, slide it into place, and push until you hear the click.
4. Remove the protective cover, then repeat on the other side. Done. Give them a try - a bit of water on the screen, flick the wipers, and there it is. A clean, quiet wipe. Ahhhhhh… NOVUS.
Do I need any tools to fit new wipers?
Installation is simple—no tools, no hassle, no trips to the garage. Just clip everything together by hand, and you're ready to go.
How long does it take to fit new wipers?
About a minute a side. If it's your first time, give yourself two - you'll still be done before the kettle's boiled.
Do I remove the plastic cover on the wiper blades?
Yes, the protective cover keeps the blade edge pristine in transit. Once the wiper has clicked into place on the arm, slide the cover off, and you're good to go.
